OhMaCalendar Privacy Policy
Effective October 13, 2026 · 한국어
OhMaCalendar has no sign-up and doesn't send your events or personal information to the developer's servers. Here is what the app uses and where it goes.
Information that stays on your iPhone
- Calendar and Reminders: The app reads and saves the events and tasks in your iPhone's Calendar and Reminders. Syncing with accounts like iCloud or Google is done by your iPhone itself. The app doesn't upload any of it.
- Stickers, event colors, photos and secret events: These stay in the app's storage on this iPhone.
- Face ID: Your iPhone checks your face when you open a secret event. The app only learns whether the check passed.
- Adding events by voice: Your iPhone's speech recognition turns what you say into text. Where the device can do this on its own, it stays on the device; otherwise Apple's speech recognition service is used.
- Contacts: Only when you use "Add birthdays from Contacts" does the app read names and birthdays to make D-days. Only the people you pick are kept, in the app's storage, and nothing is sent anywhere.
- Notifications: The morning briefing, departure alerts and D-day notifications are scheduled on your iPhone. Secret events keep their titles hidden in notifications too.
Information that leaves your iPhone
- Map links: When you paste a Naver Map or Google Maps link into an event's URL field, the app opens that link once to find the place's name. The address is looked up with Apple Maps.
- Departure alerts (only when on): To work out the travel time, the app sends your location when you open it and the event's place to Apple Maps. Your location never reaches the developer and isn't stored.
No ads (in-app purchase)
Payment is handled by Apple in the App Store. Neither the app nor the developer receives your card number or other payment details. The app only asks the App Store whether this Apple Account bought "No ads" and remembers the answer on this iPhone. Apple keeps your purchase history, and refunds are requested from Apple.
What the app doesn't use
- Ads, advertising identifiers, or tracking across other apps and websites
- Analytics tools that collect usage history
- Accounts, email addresses or phone numbers
Deleting
Deleting the app also deletes the stickers, colors and photos in its storage. Events and tasks saved to Calendar and Reminders stay in your iPhone's Calendar and Reminders apps.
